ROAD TRIP!
Proud of our latest work for The Pokemon Company, this time creating an animated opening film for the 2025 Pokémon World Championships in Anaheim, California!
Representing over 50 unique Pokemon on a journey around the world, this project had a lot of moving parts, requiring the coordinated efforts of over 30 talented artists to bring the vision to life.
Using a toon-shaded approach to match the key art of their event, while staying true to the classic Sugimori Watercolor style, the end result is a deceptively simple look and feel.
Always grateful for the opportunity to partner with great people, this project was no exception. The combined efforts of our amazing clients and an incredible team resulted in a film that that lit up the event and delighted fans around the world.
