Caliper

Caliper is the moniker for freelance director duo Joey Gasiorek and Katey Marquette, who collaborate with Nathan Love and other creative teams to bring animation to life across brand, explainer, and character-driven projects.

Joey leads animation and storytelling, with a strong instinct for timing, performance, and character. With a background in comedy and improv, he loves finding the humor or emotional beat that makes a piece click, and has spent the last 15 years writing scripts and pushing animation so ideas land clearly and memorably.

Katey leads look development and visual direction, building strong design systems and thoughtful aesthetics while keeping a close eye on structure, scope, and logistics. Her producer brain helps turn creative ambition into plans that are realistic, organized, and efficient (she loves a good spreadsheet).

Working flexibly with clients and trusted freelancers, Caliper scales to fit each project’s needs and integrates seamlessly into existing production teams.
